and this is why Republicans are being so obstinate about the debt ceiling debate; they value their principles more than reason (not that they’re always wrong. just inflexible).

As a soon-to-be-registered Independent, I find this very interesting. I’m a tad more liberal, thinking that I would prefer someone who would compromise to get things done.
